César Chávez (CCLA) Language Academy first opened its doors in the fall of 2013 under the direction of Dr. Anna-Maria Guzman. The first year the school opened we offered classes for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten. The following year we added 1st grade and each year after that we will continue to add grade levels.

CCLA is a Two-Way Dual Immersion School. Our teachers are fully credentialed by the state of California to teach Language Arts in English and Spanish. Our teachers' credentials, multiple subject teaching credentials, also allow them to teach content (math, social studies, science, the arts, physical education) in both English and Spanish.
