Welcome to Mid-Peninsula High School! We are a college prep, coed, non-profit independent high school where students are the center of all that we do. We believe that college is an important part of an education plan and we know the path to get there is different for every student. In our close-knit and collaborative community, our extraordinary teachers inspire academic confidence by empowering diverse learners to reach their individual potential. After four years at Mid-Peninsula, our graduates are prepared for smooth and successful transitions into colleges, careers, and communities.

We take a “small school, big benefits” approach as an alternative to the one-size-fits-all proposition at larger schools. Our students are afforded close relationships with their teachers and with each other in a receptive and supportive environment. Our program is designed to give students individualized attention so they will grow as learners and realize their full potential.

We see our school as an adolescent world infused with the knowledge, experience, and maturity of our adults. Adolescents thrive when adults truly understand and value their world. Our priority is to thoughtfully inhabit the adolescent world while leading students to discover their unique path to success.
