We are a year-round school for K–8 kids, where academically-gifted students have tremendous influence over the trajectories of their academic learning. In our small, intimate classes teachers provide the scaffolding of context, basic information and skills; kids scramble all over it, climbing higher with expanded content and refined knowledge—under guidance of course. Our students are given tools for emotional and physical self-regulation through mindfulness activities and daily PE classes.

Kids find GATE exciting and challenging, because exploring their own questions, and creating their own research, writing and art, is inherently self-motivating. We know that parents are happy when their kids are thriving. Welcome!
