Description
St. Elizabeth Seton School is a Catholic elementary school in the Diocese of San Jose that has served East Palo Alto and neighboring communities since 1978. We educate children in preschool through eighth grade.
Although the campus is nestled in a safe and tranquil community of Palo Alto, students come almost exclusively from East Palo Alto, east Menlo Park and surrounding neighborhoods. It is Seton's mission to help the children from these low-income families realize their potential through a challenging education in a positive, caring environment.
St. Elizabeth Seton School has an annual average enrollment of 285 students in Preschool-8th grade, and is the only Catholic elementary educational alternative for these low-income communities.
Through the sponsorship of the Daughters of Charity, Seton School is able to keep tuition affordable and within the financial reach of our families. Tuition scholarships from outside funds as well as faithful donors provides additional financial assistance to families who might otherwise not be able to afford a Catholic education for their children.
The school welcomes students, faculty, and staff of all faiths. It admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational or admission policies, or scholarships or other school administered programs.
St. Elizabeth Seton School is fully accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA). The curriculum of St. Elizabeth Seton School is aligned with the State of California and Common Core Standards.
Seton Graduates attend local Catholic, private, and public high schools
