Zanshin Dojo is located in the heart of San Francisco, on the edge of Golden Gate Park. Established in 1998, our school is a traditional karate dojo, with affiliation to the IOGKF (The International Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate-do Federation) based in Okinawa, Japan. As a member of our dojo, our students become members of the IOGKF, allowing them to train at any IOGKF affiliated school around the world. Our students’ training is further legitimized by the internationally recognized belt certification offered by the IOGKF. Members of our dojo are also offered the opportunity to train with karate masters from Japan, and attend special “Gasshuku”(training camps) all over the world. Our dojo has hosted teaching seminars featuring both the world chief instructor and his top students. So training with us means your part of a much larger organization that has legitimacy and history. It also means a solid investment of your time and energy!
