Forestville Academy is a charter school for grades 2-8. The Academy is a charter school under the Forestville Union School District. We carry on the Forestville School tradition of high academic standards in a supportive and caring environment. The movement for chartering the second through eighth grades was a collaboration between parents, teachers, and administrators. The decision to charter was to bring innovative programs as well as bring back some of our outstanding programs. Forestville Academy became a charter school in July of 2006.

Forestville Academy offers a rigorous standards-based program. Students are exposed to project-based learning as well as meaningful experiences outside of the classroom to enrich the curriculum. Teachers design lessons and use differentiated instructional strategies to reach each child’s unique learning style.
