Description

Established in 1913, the Oakley Library is one of the oldest Contra Costa County libraries. Over the years the library was housed in several locations, but currently shares space with Freedom High School. Taking great pride in serving the community, the library boasts a helpful staff and offers the following materials: DVDs and videos, a music collection, and a wide range of adult, young adult and children's literature. Teens stay active in the library by participating in the Teen Advisory Committee (Oakley Library Youth Squad). Be sure to check this month's exciting programs-all free-thanks to the Friends Of Oakley Library.
