Dandelion Nursery School is a parent cooperative preschool in Berkeley, California. Dandelion has been a vibrant part of the community for over 30 years, bringing together and giving young children a wonderful introduction to school.

At Dandelion, teachers, parents, and children collaborate to create a rich learning experience. Together, we encourage children’s play, take their thoughts seriously, and support both children’s independence and their desire to interact with peers. Parents meet and discuss issues and concerns common to families with young children and attend to running the school. Families participating in our co-op form a supportive and enriching community.
