It's a unique place for families to shop, learn, and play that includes a thoughtfully hand-picked selection of books, music, toys, and hand crafted organic children’s accessories.

Our goal is to create a valuable community resource where families can come to linger, browse, relax, read, laugh, play, sing, talk, and listen.

The Reading Bug also offers an extensive calendar of special events to keep parents and kids busy nearly every day. Storytimes, sing-alongs, author signings, discussion groups and craft days are just a few of the many activities you can find at "The Bug." The store also provides a small event space to host grown-up or children's book clubs, baby showers, book-themed birthday parties, and other private events!
