HCA is currently owned and administered by Scott and Jennifer Smetzer. Together with the HCA area coordinators Walter & Leslie Gowen and Les & Christine Yee, and our Academic Advisor, Cindi Frediani, they provide a wealth of experience in all areas of home education from teaching techniques to guidance in choosing curriculum. All members of the HCA staff have had over a decade of teaching experience with their own children as well as the instruction of other students.

We view homeschooling as a privilege and a blessing granted to us by The Creator who entrusted us with the guardianship of His children. It is the desire of our hearts to strengthen and encourage other homeschooling parents through prayer and practical support.
