The Hillbarn Theatre Conservatory is a year-round performing arts conservatory with four main programs: Mainstage musicals at Hillbarn, Classes at Hillbarn, Outreach Enrichment classes and camps, and Outreach Productions.

Each year we produce 3 children’s musical productions on the Hillbarn Theatre main stage. Our performances feature youth performers. We hire designers and directors who bring vibrant, creative worlds to life and who understand how to make theatre accessible for audiences young and old.

Throughout the year, we offer drama, voice and dance classes and camps for children ages 4 to 18. Our classes focus on ensemble performance, teamwork, and confident communication.

We provide after-school enrichment classes to elementary schools in Foster City, San Mateo and Hillsborough. We produce full-scale musicals in outreach to elementary, middle and high schools who otherwise would not do a school musical due to lack of internal performing arts curriculum. All of our Teaching Artists are professionals, trained as both artists and educators.
