Butterflies Academy is a non-profit high quality child development center established in 2016. We started enrolling butterflies in January 2017. In our child care center we serve children from the ages of 2 to entry to 1st grade in an organic, sugar-free and friendly environment. At our child care center, we enroll not potty trained children at No extra cost. Our preschool offers full-time, part-time morning and part-time afternoon program as well.

At Butterflies Academy preschool we understand that getting ready for the future begins at birth. The first 5 years of a child’s life is the prime time for creating a strong foundation for all future—formal and informal—learning. It is a period of incredible growth in all areas of a child’s development.

We also understand the importance of the balance between cognitive and literacy skills for children with comparable attention to the emotional and social development of children. At Butterflies Academy we understand that the first five years last a lifetime. Therefore, all of our programs include a focus on social and emotional development, because the most important predictor of school and life success is social-emotional intelligence. During the first five years, while a child’s brain is being wired for a lifetime, Butterflies Academy’s work revolves around all of a child’s developmental needs.

Scientific research shows that during this time period the underlying physical architecture of a child’s brain is established. From the first day of life to the first day in preschool, a child grows at a phenomenal pace that is unequaled at any other time of life.
