Description

Welcome to Spring Hill School, a respectful and innovative independent school believing in the intellect and potential of each of our children. At the heart of our school is a hands-on, global education that fosters joyful learning and stimulates passionate engagement, elaborate thinking, creating, making, and inventing. This is a place where our children can ask questions, wonder, explore, receive individual as well as team guidance as they master their academic skills and thrive within a deep understanding of subject matters.

In a diverse and global society such as ours, we understand the importance of raising children who develop a strong sense of self, while still being valuable team players, and ultimately discover their own role in becoming courageous change-makers for a better future. We have reimagined a real-life education which not only exceeds standards by providing advanced academics, social and emotional maturity/leadership, daily rich practices and a collection of experiences that spark our children’s imagination, but also generate in each child the will to put forth his or her best effort in learning HOW to learn.

As you walk through each classroom at Spring Hill, you will feel the strength generated by such a positive and supportive community. You will see the excitement of in-depth learning as third graders record in their science journals their observations of the green house that they built in their architecture class to investigate the impact of global warming over different surfaces of their outdoor classroom. The first graders are evaluating and measuring their soil segmentation samples, while the kindergartners build a rocket to travel to space. You’ll peek in at toddlers joyfully juicing fresh organic vegetables from their garden to make a tasty green ice cream treat.

You’ll also see the richness of our environment and how a primary focus is on multicultural and bilingual programs, where our children learn various languages and study cultures, celebrating diversity and honoring differences with flexibility, empathy, passion and collaborative leadership.
