The water is warm and shallow at Crown Beach. At the west end of the beach is a bathhouse with changing rooms. Swimming is permitted during park hours year round. No lifeguards are on duty.

Our facility houses 2 pools one indoor and one outdoors. Our indoor pool houses all equipment for water fitness exercise. Both pools have kick boards and pull bouys.Both mens and womens restrooms have showers, toilets and a place to change. We also have a family changing room/acessable bathroom fully accomadeted with a shower, toilet and bench to change. There are day use lockers in the hallway, which you must provide your own lock for. The Berkeley Tennis Club is a member-owned club with a rich history in tennis.
The BTC has been blessed with many great players in its membership including Don Budge, Helen Wills Moody, and Helen Jacobs. It has been the home of the Girls' 18 National Championships and hosts the Pacific Coast Seniors Championship.

Family Swim is a great way to activate the family and practice swimming skills at the same time – kids 6 months to 13 years old with parents can swim, play, and be together in the Shallow Pool.

Tiny Waves: in the Shallow Pool, parents and children between the ages of 6 months and 4 years can swim together and find the love of the water through play and movement.

In the Lap Pool, adult members with their children, ages 7 and older can swim and do their own laps—a great way for the whole family to get exercise.

Strawberry Canyon Pool, open only during the summer, is 33 yards in length with 6 lanes and water temperature maintained at 80-81 degrees F. Three lanes are dedicated to lap swimming – the rest is for recreational. Amenities include locker rooms, hot showers, day lockers (bring your own lock), swim suit spinners, kickboards, a pool lift for those needing assistance getting into pool, and wheelchair access to the locker rooms. No towel service is available.

Just over the hill from Berkeley, Tilden Park's Lake Anza is a favorite getaway. Its sandy beach is open to the sun and sheltered from the wind, with lifeguards posted during the swim season. Wheelchair accessible features include drinking water and ample parking (restrooms are not wheelchair accessible). Picnic grounds are located nearby. There is a beach access fee to the swim area, which has changing rooms. Swim season is normally May through September and closed for swimming November through March.

The Castro Valley Swim Center is a seasonal outdoor facility, operating the middle of June through the middle of August. Offering swim lessons, public swim, and swim team.

Forest Hills Swim Club is a member-owned swim facility in the heart of Castro Valley. We are a family-oriented swim club offering a full-size heated pool with diving board and a toddler pool.

Chabot Swim Club is comprised of the 220 member families who privately own the club property and improvements. We are a not-for-profit corporation in Castro Valley, California. We incorporated in 1963. Chabot Swim Club (CSC) is a family friendly and safe environment for all ages. The pool is staffed with certified lifeguards during member swim hours. The pool is staffed each year starting the week of CVUSD's spring break week, then has weekend hours through the remainder of the school year. We are open daily from the end of school in June through the start of the new school year, and September and October weekends, after which we close for the season.

Briarhill Cabana Club is a friendly neighborhood pool on the west side of Dublin conveniently situated on the corner of Dublin Blvd and Hansen drive.

The City of Dublin is proud to bring you The Wave, it's newest and most exciting community facility. The Wave is a 31,000-square foot state-of-the-art aquatics facility anchored by a natatorium (indoor pool), outdoor sports pool, waterslide tower, and splash zone with water play features.

Aqua Adventure is a 3-acre family-oriented waterpark located on beautiful Lake Elizabeth/Central Park in Fremont, California. The waterpark is owned and operated by the City of Fremont. There is a 4-story tower which leads you up to 4 twisting waterslides. There is also a Lazy River, a tots play area, a spray ground and a swimming pool. Aqua Adventure hosts corporate and group outing as well as birthday parties, family reunions, and special events. Aqua Adventure operates from late May through September and is a great way to make family memories that will last a lifetime.

The park is a beautiful water-oriented recreation area, which offers more intensive recreation such as picnicking, boating, swimming and fishing, but also has room for hiking and wildlife viewing.
The swim complex, including the white sandy beach, restrooms, and lifeguard service, is open year round. There is a fee for entry into the swimming complex.

The Mission Valley Swim Club is a member owned community pool and club that serves as the home for the award winning Barracuda swim team. We have large spacious grounds for your family enjoyment, outdoor BBQ facilities for private parties, and club hosted social events (such as Family BBQ Days, Movie Nights, & Teen Night). The 6 lane, 25-yard pool has a water slide and is heated to a comfortable temperature, as is the separate kiddie wading pool.

Mission Highlands Swim Club first opened its doors in 1962. It has been providing a place for its members, and their families and friends to swim and enjoy each others company ever since.

We are a non-profit organization owned by its members.

The club is typically open from mid-April through late September.

The pool and grounds are available for use by its members and their families and guests.

We have recreational and lap swimming in our 5-lane, 25-yard pool. In addition, there is a smaller pool available for children 5 and under (must be supervised by an adult at all times).

Our lifeguards are on duty during all open hours and offer private swim lessons as well.

We have a covered patio with several wooden tables and benches. Members may reserve this area for small private functions.

Gas grills are available for all members to use, even when patio area is in use for private parties.

On the deck surrounding the pool there are many tables with chairs and umbrellas, as well as lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun.

A small kitchen area is available for daily use (refrigerator, microwave, sink). Members are asked to keep the area clean and to remove all items they bring (no long-term food storage).

We are the home of the Highlands Sharks Swim Team which is part of the East Bay Swim League.

The Cabana Club is a private pool association situated in the peaceful residential neighborhood of Warm Springs in Fremont, California. The Cabana Club provides a safe and friendly community environment to swim, relax and entertain.

Don Castro Regional Park is a 101-acre urban oasis on the boundary between Hayward and Castro Valley. The clear blue waters of the swim lagoon are a favorite with central Alameda County residents. The lagoon and adjacent lake were created in 1964 when the Alameda Flood Control and Water Conservation District dammed San Lorenzo Creek.

Swimming in the lagoon is the park's main attraction. There is a beach access fee. Swim hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and only when lifeguards are on duty.

A swim club membership offers a summer time of swimming fun for the entire family! The Club is open on weekends in the spring and daily from mid-June through the end of September. Membership also entitles you to reduced swim lesson fees, participation on the Southgate Penguins Swim Team, and the opportunity of renting the pool for private parties.

The Southgate Swim Club is a community of tradition that goes back to the early 1960s when the club was built. Operating as a nonprofit corporation with a lot of volunteer help, the swim club has provided many wonderful recreational opportunities for area youth over the years, and continues to serve the families of the area

The Hayward Plunge is a year-round indoor facility. Offering swim lessons, public swim, lap swim and water exercise.

The Sunset Swim Center is a seasonal outdoor facility, operating the middle of June through the middle of August. Offering swim lessons, public swim, lap swim and swim team.

Deep in a valley framed by oak-covered hills, with sailboats and sailboards skimming over its waters, Del Valle is like a lakeside resort only 10 miles south of Livermore.

The centerpiece of the park is a lake five miles long with a variety of water-oriented recreation, from swimming to windsurfing and boating, surrounded by 4,395 acres of beautiful land for hiking, horseback riding, and nature study. Del Valle also is the eastern gateway to the Ohlone Wilderness Trail, 28 miles of scenic backcountry trail.

Del Valle offers two swimming beaches with lifeguards on duty during posted periods. Year-round swimming is allowed, but only north of the boat ramp and at the swimmer's own risk.

The new Robert Livermore Aquatic Center has two pools:
- A zero-depth pool with an interactive play structure and a water slide. Open seasonally
- A 25 yd. x 33 m., 13-lane lap pool. Open year-round.

May Nissen Swim Center is located at May Nissen Park.

The facility offers two pools, a 2' – 3' depth and a 3.5'– 6. 5' pool.

A full American Red Cross learn-to-swim program is run at the May Nissen pool along with water exercise and recreational swim.

During the summer months, recreational swim hours are weekdays, 1 – 4 p.m., Saturdays 1 – 5 p.m., Closed Sundays. The pool is closed during the school year.

Together, the Activity Center and the Water Park form an award-winning center offering a variety of entertainment and activities for all ages with a combination of large water slides*, a lazy river,15 people warm water spa, open lap pool, and children's activity pool! The aquatic center is an exciting 32,000 square foot Indoor Water Park located Newark, California off the 880 freeway and Mowry Avenue in the Tri-City Area! All pools are heated, and temperatures vary.

Oakland Hills Tennis Club is a family tennis, swim and athletic club nestled in the Oakland Hills. We feature 10 outdoor, lighted courts, an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, weights, cardio equipment, aerobic classes, aikido, massage, sauna, steam rooms and much, much more.

Located next to the junction of highways 24 and 13 in Oakland, Temescal is a convenient urban oasis, popular for swimming, fishing, sunbathing, and picnicking.
The swim area is open spring through fall, with lifeguards on duty during posted periods. Swimming is permitted only in the designated swim area. Dogs are not allowed in the lake and the beach. Swimming is also allowed at your own risk when lifeguards are not on duty when the park is open from April through October. There is a beach access fee.

Recreational swim hours are open to families and children not swimming laps.

Temescal Pool is located at Oakland Technical High School, adjacent to Studio One Arts Center and serves the Downtown and North Oakland community with fun, safe and recreational programs. Pool use includes swimming classes and lessons for tiny tots, children and adults, swim team practice, recreational swim and so much more.

Lions pool is located at Dimond Park, adjacent to Dimond Recreation Center and serves the Dimond & Laurel district with fun, safe and recreational programs. Pool use includes swimming classes and lessons for tiny tots, children and adults, swim team practice and much more.

This activity is a great opportunity for quality family time, to make new friends and to build comfort and confidence in and around the water. Children 4 years and under MUST wear a swim diaper.

The Roberts Pool complex features a 25 yard, heated swimming pool with a depth of from 3 feet to 8.5 feet (no diving board), vending machines and lawn areas. In addition, the complex is fully accessible to individuals with disabilities, including the bathhouse and an accessible lift into the pool.

The pool is open to the public from mid-April through the end of September, with varying days and times of operation. The Montclair Swim Club is a swim and health club facility in a forested enclave in the Oakland hills with ample parking and convenient hours of operations. With a limited number of memberships the Montclair Swim Club offers a relaxed atmosphere for both family and single memberships.

Family Swim is free for YMCA Facility member. Youth 13 and younger must have a parent or guardian in the water at all times.

The City of Piedmont Recreation Department is proud to operate the Piedmont Community Pool. We are proud to carry on the tradition started in 1964 by the Piedmont Swim Club.

We are pleased to offer a variety of classes including Parent-Tot Swim Lessons, Private and Group Lessons, Swim Camp as well as new classes in Spring Board Diving, Babysitter Training, our GuardStart program, and many others.

The Piedmont Recreation Department works to ensure that the Piedmont Community Pool is a destination point for our children and families and an operation that all Piedmonters can be proud of.

To the many Piedmonters who have been a part of the Piemdont Community Pool since the City Assumed operation in 2011 and those who were a part of the Piedmont Swim Club over its 47 years, thank you for your service and support.

The swimming beach has a bathhouse and refreshment stand, open on weekends in spring and fall, and daily during summer months. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months, but swimming is allowed throughout the year in the designated area, at the swimmer's own risk.

The Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center (DBAC) is Pleasanton’s premiere aquatic facility, featuring:

The Del Prado Cabana Club (DPCC) is a members only club for residents of the Del Prado neighborhood. The cabana club has an olympic sized main pool, baby pool, volleyball courts, chaise lounges, and two BBQ areas for reserved events. There are currently 392 members and 20 potential members on the waiting list. The current wait time is around 1-2 years so sign up soon to be added to the list. The Cabana Club is open from early May until late August. Throughout the season the club hosts events such as Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July Bike Ride, Adult Parties, Food Trucks, and BBQ’s. The Del Prado Cabana Club is also the home to the Del Prado Stingray Swim Team.

Pleasanton Valley Club is Pleasanton's premiere Family Swim and Cabana Club. PVC offers swim lessons, a recreational swim team for children, and a whole bunch of family oriented activities throughout the summer. Located in the heart of Pleasanton, our private club offers a casual, park-like setting that is ideal for spending quality time with family and friends. With an expansive grass area for picnicking or working on a tan, barbeque facilities, a snack bar, and guarded hours by certified lifeguards, PVC provides an unmatched family summer experience!

The San Leandro Family Aquatic Center (SLFAC) is located at Washington Manor Park. This dynamic, state of the art facility offers an activity pool with zero depth entry and water play structure, three 25-yard lap lanes, a "spray" ground, and a 17-foot tall water slide. For your convenience, the SLFAC has restroom and shower facilities, a family changing room, and outdoor day-use lockers.

Aquatics programs at this facility include swimming lessons and public recreational swim.

The Arroyo Swim Center is a seasonal outdoor facility, operating the middle of June through the middle of August. Offering swim lessons, public swim, lap swim and swim team.

The Union City Aquatics program operates out of the James Logan High School Dan Oden Swim Complex which includes one outdoor, heated pool. It is mandatory that you wear a swim suit in the pool. We recommend that you bring a towel to dry off and children wear a rash guard during colder weather. Floatation devices and life jackets are not allowed in the pool.

Contra Loma's 780 acres include an 80-acre reservoir for year-round fishing and a lifeguarded swim lagoon for summertime swimming. Enjoy these attractions along with year-round hiking, biking, and nature study at this Contra Costa County oasis.

The Crockett Swimming Pool, built in 1966, has been serving the communities of Crockett and Port Costa for almost 50 years. Completely renovated in 2011, our beautiful swimming pool facility provides modern pool plumbing, filters, pumps and lighting that meet all of the latest state requirements. Our swimming pool is ADA compliant.

Our facility features two poolside patio areas with umbrella covered tables, a lush green lawn area for sitting and a raised sun deck for enjoying the warm summer sunshine. We also have a 1' wading pool for the little ones. Our pool is fully staffed with Red Cross Certified Lifeguards who are on duty during all pool operating hours.

The Green Valley Pool provides a fun and safe environment where families can spend carefree time together during the summer. Our ‘community pool’ is a place where parents come to socialize, relax and cool off, and where children will find friends from school and the surrounding neighborhoods. What is your middle schooler doing this summer? Hang out with friends, swim, play ping pong… all in a safe environment, close to home. Founded in 1960, we’ve been celebrating more than 50 years in Lafayette. Our club was renovated in 2009, and accommodates all levels of tennis players and water enthusiasts—from the casual indulgence to those with a competitive spirit.

The focal point of Rancho Colorados is our sparkling pool surrounded by lush landscaping, spacious decks, a built-in BBQ area with gas and charcoal grills, outside refrigerator and sink. Our club facilities also include a large patio with tables, spacious restrooms and changing areas, outdoor showers, ping-pong tables, a basketball hoop and plenty of convenient parking.

Relax in one of the many lounge chairs under the shade of an umbrella or pergola—and enjoy your time among fellow members. You can take advantage of everything our club has to offer or focus on what you and your family enjoy the most.

Sun Valley Pool has been the summer home for Lamorinda families since 1953. Conveniently located off Pleasant Hill Road, the pool provides a safe and friendly extension of your own backyard – featuring a six-lane pool, a wading pool, BBQ grills and Wi-Fi access. Sun Valley Pool is proud to be the home of the accomplished Sun Valley Rays Swim Team.

But Sun Valley is about more than just swimming – it’s about spending time with friends and neighbors in a fun and relaxed setting, and where pitching in is the norm and supporting our kids is the priority. Las Trampas Pool is a member-owned swim club in the Burton Valley neighborhood of Lafayette, CA. Las Trampas Pool was founded in 1958 by local residents and has seen several generations enjoy the wonderful family friendly environment the pool has always fostered. The pool is open to members and their guests from May through September. Located right on the Lafayette-Moraga Regional Trail, the pool is a convenient stroll or bike ride from all of Lafayette.

The Rankin Aquatic Center is a two-pool complex. The Lap Pool is 3 -12 ft deep with a diving tank and lanes for lap swimming. The Splash/Bucket Pool is zero to 3 ft deep with water bucket that drops every few minutes...a favorite of the children! Both pools are kept at approximately 82 degrees.

Nestled in the foothills between Orinda and Moraga, MVP is a vital and enduring part of the Orinda & Moraga community, with innovative swim & tennis programs, summer day camp, club social activities, friendly staff, and stunning natural setting. MVP provides members, their families and friends, and all who come to play, with a safe, family oriented environment for lifelong recreation, instruction, fun, and competition.

Oak Springs Clubhouse is the perfect setting for your next event. Available for family gatherings, graduations, birthday parties, wedding and baby showers, family reunions and children's parties. Our renovated Clubhouse features a large furnished recreational room and flat screen TV's with cable access, multimedia center and WIFI. Includes a wet bar, entertainment area, full kitchen, dining area, fireplace, banquet tables and chairs to accommodate any event.

In addition to the historic Clubhouse, Oak Springs offers annual swim memberships to families, couples, and singles from May to October. Our large outdoor pool has depths ranging from 3.5 feet to 9 feet, with a diving board and a children's wading pool. We offer beginner swimming lessons on-site.

This hidden gem is nestled in the hills of Orinda, just a few minutes from the Orinda Theater Square. With reasonable membership dues and no swim team, we offer lounge chairs, an outdoor heated shower and a diving board, and there are no closed dates for swim team activities.

Orinda Park Pool is a members-only, community-run, community-funded non-profit organization with a rich heritage of family fun in the sun, and is home to the Stingrays Swim Team. OPP is the largest, most unique and scenic pool in the area. Enjoy acres of amenities where you can picnic, bask in the sun, or relax in the shade of towering oaks.

You need not live in Orinda to join OPP, we are open to all.

SHSTC is a family-based swim and tennis club nestled in the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood of Orinda, CA. Members enjoy year round swimming, tennis and social gatherings in a newly renovated state-of-the-art facility. The only thing nicer than the club grounds are the members who belong.

The Pinole Swimming Pool is now open for the Summer. The City of Pinole is happy to announce that the Pinole Swim Center is under new management with the Pinole Seals Swim Club for the summer of 2017.

The Pleasant Hill Aquatics, Inc. (PHAI) swimming pool is a member owned private swim facility built in 1954. When you purchase a membership with the PHAI Swim Club you become part owner of the facility and property. Our pool has provided a rich tradition of community activity and camaraderie for over fifty years and is a place where families and friends gather from April to October to cool off, exercise, barbecue and socialize.PHAI is home to the Penguins and Emperor Penguins swim teams. PHAI is proud of our summer recreational swim team program where young swimmers improve their skills, learn sportsmanship as they compete against other swimmers, and have fun-filled, enjoyable summers.We offer our members swim lessons for beginning, intermediate and advanced swimmers. Our very qualified coaches and lifeguards provide lesson sign-up books at the beginning of the swim season. Check at the Gatekeepers Office for lesson books.

A beautifully landscaped shoreline picnic area, a secluded cove with swimming beach, a fishing pier at a historic site, a hilltop with excellent panoramic views of the north Bay Area, and a model railroad museum - all these attractions are part of 307-acre Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline in Richmond.

Keller Beach, a gift to the park from the City of Richmond, is at the north end of Miller/Knox. There, visitors can wade and swim in San Francisco Bay. No lifeguards are on duty. Picnic tables and restrooms are nearby.

Sending time in the water is a great way to keep kids active and spend time together as a family. Family Swim is free for YMCA Facility member. Youth 17 and younger must have a parent or guardian in the water at all times.

The San Ramon Olympic Pool & Aquatic Park is located adjacent to California High School. The facility contains group picnic areas, a zero-entry play pool, 25-meter pool and Olympic Pool (50-meter) with a water slide and diving boards. This facility is a year-round facility with its peak attendance during the warm summer months.

The pool complex features a 30 feet by 70 feet swimming pool and deck areas. In addition, the complex is fully accessible to individuals with disabilities, including the bathhouse and an accessible lift into the pool. (Pool access fee to enter swim area.) Swimming is allowed only when lifeguards are on duty.

DVRA is a community pool, open annually to its members mid May through mid October. We are open from dawn to dusk (no swim team). Annual dues, accepted payment methods and membership requirements are outlined in the membership form.

The Livorna Estates Pool Club is a fun, family-oriented environment where parents and children of all ages can spend time together during the warm seasons. Our pool is a place where children play and meet new friends while parents get a chance to relax, socialize, and take a dip! Our pool features a 6-lane “Big Pool” and a smaller “Baby Pool” for young children.

During operating hours, Livorna Pool is guarded by two certified lifeguards that are easily recognizable by the red shorts they wear. Our lifeguards are well trained in water safety and emergency procedures such as first aid and CPR breathing techniques.

For over 50 years Dewing Park Swim Club has been a gathering place for families in the community. DPSC is a beautiful private community pool located in Walnut Creek. The grounds boast a five lane heated pool, diving area, wading pool for infants and toddlers, comfortable landscaped lawn areas, wi-fi, dressing rooms, outdoor showers, basketball hoop, ping pong table, and a brick BBQ pit and picnic area.

The Dewing Park Swim Club, a non-profit organization, is run by its elected Board of Directors which meets throughout the year. Club Members are welcome to attend the bi-annual membership meetings and encouraged to get involved in activities and fundraisers.

This 6.6 acre beach, near the town of Bolinas, provides access to almost two miles of ocean shoreline at low tide. Together with adjacent Duxbury Reef, Agate Beach offers amazing opportunities to explore tide pools filled with marine life, general beach recreation, wildflower viewing, bird watching, and on clear days, incredible views to the Farallon Islands and beyond.
Agate Beach is part of the Duxbury Reef State Marine Reserve, which includes Federal and State jurisdictions and signifies its status as a sensitive and highly protected resource area. Marin County Parks jurisdiction includes the upland area. When visiting Agate Beach, please remember that collection of rocks, shells, and any other marine life is prohibited. Collection of red abalone and fishing from shore for fin fish is allowed in accordance with California Fish and Game Code and with the correct California Department of Fish and Wildlife permit.

The Cañon Swim & Tennis Club has Marin's best sports and leisure facilities tucked into one of Ross Valley's most beautiful golden canyons. It's a beautiful day at The Cañon Club.

Located at 1100 Pierce Point Road, in Inverness, Heart's Desire is the heart of Tomales Bay State Park. Here you will find the parks Ranger Station, Heart's Desire Beach, Vista Point Picnic Area, and hiking trails to Indian Beach, Pebble Beach, and Shell Beach. Dogs are not permitted on any beaches or trails in this area.

Chicken Ranch Beach is north of Inverness, adjacent to Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and nestled along the west shore of Tomales Bay. This three acre natural area serves the small communities of Inverness and neighboring Point Reyes Station, as well as visitors to the west Marin area. Chicken Ranch Beach provides access to Tomales Bay and is a popular kayak spot. The small sandy beach is a serene place to relax and enjoy bucolic west Marin, have a picnic, fly a kite, or stop-over during the long drive to Point Reyes National Seashore. Dogs are allowed on leash.

This quiet cove, beach, and lagoon tucked into the coastline three miles west of Muir Woods—is a favorite spot among locals. You can go up to the newly completed, multi-use Dias Ridge trail—a segment of the Bay Ridge Trail—on a ridgeline above Muir Beach. This new trail offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Marin coastline.

Or go east along the trail (uphill) to scenic Coyote Ridge or south along the breathtaking Coastal Trail to Tennessee Cove. Look for a small signpost north of Muir Beach along Highway 1 that points the way to Muir Beach Overlook.

There are no lifeguards at Muir Beach. The northernmost end of the beach is popular with clothing-optional sunbathers

At the Hamilton Pool, you’ll find a state-of-the-art pool that’s perfect for swim instruction, deep water exercise and recreational use.

Located behind the Sleepy Hollow Clubhouse, the 25-yard pool is heated and runs from a depth of 3 ½ feet to 8 feet. A 1' deep baby pool is also available.

Lifeguards are on duty during the pool season, which begins on Memorial Day Weekend and runs through the end of September. Other facilities include changing rooms, a grassy area for sunbathing and play, a snack bar and a separate play area for children.

Rafael Racquet Club is a family-friendly swim and tennis club located in the sunny hills of San Rafael. We pride ourselves on giving our members something more than just a place to play tennis or swim laps; we give our members an escape from the everyday.

The Marinwood Aquatic Facility is surrounded by beautiful grounds and next to Marinwood Park and Playground. The aquatic facility consists of an outdoor 25-yard length main pool with a double-flume waterslide, as well as a tot pool for children less than 7 years of age.

The facility opens in the spring and closes for the season in late fall. People can purchase a pool membership, punch pass or pay a daily drop-in. Group Swim Lessons are offered for children in the summer. Private/Semi-Private Lessons are also available to both children and adults.

55-acre McNears Beach Park sits in a beautiful sheltered cove along the shores of San Pablo Bay. A swimming pool and snack bar are open during the summer season. Year-round facilities include group picnic areas, expansive turf, sand volleyball courts, renovated tennis courts, and a popular fishing pier for sturgeon, stripped bass, shark, perch, halibut, and crab. A designated "trailhead" on the San Francisco Bay Area Water Trail, McNears Beach offers easy carry-in access for kayaks and canoes. Parking and pier are wheelchair accessible. Learn about park hours and fees for entry, parking and pool use. Sorry, no dogs or other companion animals at McNears, except service animals.

McNears Beach Park Pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Access fee - $5.00 per person.

Stinson’s white sand and oceanfront make it one of the best swimming beaches in northern California. With opportunities for hiking, picnicking, exploring the town, surfing, or sunbathing, people continue to visit Stinson Beach to escape from the frantic pace of everyday life, just they have been doing for over a century.

Stinson Beach is open year round every day. The entrance gates open at 9:00 a.m. Closing times vary depending on season. Check the posted sign when you enter the parking lot.
Although the average summer water temperature is a cold 58º F (14º C) Stinson Beach remains a popular surf spot. The best times of year for surfing are winter and spring. For windsurfers, the prevailing northwesterly winds blow best in the afternoon. The summer surf is most suitable for rafters and body-boarders.
Lifeguards are generally on duty from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
A snack bar is open during summer months at the base of the main lifeguard tower.
Rest rooms are located along the beach adjacent to each of the parking areas. The shower (cold) is located at the central rest room building.
Dogs are allowed on leash in the parking lot, picnic areas, and on the county beach. However, pets are not allowed on the National Park Service section of the beach.
Inner tubes and motorized recreational equipment are prohibited in swimming areas.
Camping is not permitted.

The Aquatic Center includes a six-lane 25 yard swimming pool, a wading pool that is operated in the summer months, outdoor showers, restrooms and dressing rooms.

Since 1979, La Petite Baleen has been providing swim lessons in the San Francisco Peninsula. Open year round with heated indoor pools and 4 locations.

After a recent overhaul of the pool and adjacent recreation center, this stunning new swimming facility features a large, heated pool and not one, but two, indoor water slides, the only ones in the city. Available for rentals and that one-of-a-kind swimming party you always dreamed of.

A neighborhood favorite, Sava Pool reopened in 2009 after a $17 million renovation. It features a 25-yard, eight-lane multi-purpose pool that accommodates recreation, lap and competitive swimming. The unique design of the building maximizes the use of natural lighting and ventilation with rooftop monitors and a south facing window wall.

Another hidden pool gem, MLK Pool features a 25-yard x 25-meter pool and a separate wading pool for tots. Aquatic programs include learn-to-swim programs, water aerobics, recreational swim and lap swim.

Renovated in 2005 to accommodate more users and programs, North Beach Swimming Pool has long been a neighborhood destination for swimmers of all ages. The facility features two pools (a 25-meter x 21′ lap pool and a 89′ x 21′ recreation pool) to accommodate a variety of aquatic programs and needs.

The 10,000-square-foot Coffman Pool, originally built in 1957, was refreshed in 2008, and is located on Visitacion Avenue and Hahn Streets within Herz Playground at the southeastern entrance of McLaren Park. A hidden gem for city swimmers, Coffman offers a variety of swim programs for all ages, including recreational swim, learn-to-swim classes, water aerobics, underwater hockey and lap swim.

The 4,565 square foot Mission Pool was constructed in 1916, and is located on 19th Street between Linda and Valencia Streets in the Mission District. It’s the only City-operated outdoor pool in San Francisco, offering a 90′ x 40′ pool for learn-to-swim, recreational and lap swim programs during the summer months and beyond.

Pool toys are not permitted during family swim. Only U.S. Coast Guard-approved life vests are permitted.

The Brisbane Community Pool, located at 2 Solano Street, was built in 2000 as a part of the Northeast Ridge development. It is a 25 yd. /75 ft. outdoor pool with a zero-depth entry pool for disability access, heated to 79-81 degrees using solar and conventional heating. The pool has heated men’s & women’s locker rooms, individual shower stalls, and a shade structure with picnic tables. The pool employs professionally trained aquatic staff that are certified water safety instructors with the American Red Cross. Only cash/checks are accepted as payments at the Pool.

On behalf of the Burlingame Parks and Recreation Department, the BAC offers aquatics programming for the entire community, including swim lessons, open swim, aqua aerobics, and more! BAC also offers masters and competitive youth programs for both swimming and water polo.

The Giammona Pool is a year-round indoor, heated swimming facility that features 11 swimming lanes, a therapy pool, and a classroom. Since 1979, La Petite Baleen has been providing swim lessons in the San Francisco Peninsula. Open year round with heated indoor pools and 4 locations.

The Colony Club offers a 25 yard, heated indoor pool with retractable roof panels that open for sunny days. During operating hours for the pool we include family time and adult time throughout the week. There are five lap lanes available during open swim time. Two swim lap lanes are available throughout the day for the lap swimmer.
At the Colony Club we also have a dry sauna and two hot tubs for relaxing.

The pool is open to the community 7 days per week. Lifeguards are on duty at all times during open swim. No registration required, just drop in.

When you visit the pool for Open Swim, you will receive a wristband good for the entire day. Wristbands differentiate swimmers from non-swimmers and help our guards preserve Open Swim areas of the facility for open swimmers. A non-swimmer is someone accompanying a swimmer who doesn’t enter the water at any time. Even getting a toe wet requires a wristband because our lifeguards are then responsible for your water safety.

Non-swimmers must be accompanied in the water by a parent within arm’s reach.

Children 5 years and younger must have a parent/guardian (16+) in the pool, within arm’s reach at all times.

Children 6 – 12 years must have a parent/guardian (16+) on the pool deck supervising them, unless they are attending a registered class or program.

Time for fun! Belle Haven Pool is open to the community for swimming and water play 5 days a week. Lifeguards are on duty at all times and everyone is welcome!

The pools and grounds at Belle Haven in Menlo Park are complete and full-service. The pools were remodeled in 2011 with refinished pool surface as well as refurbished decking.

Member owned Millbrae Meadows Swimming Club, Inc (MMSC) is a non-profit organization for the purpose of promoting social activities and furnishing a recreational facility for the exclusive use of its members and their guests.

The Brink Swimming Pool is a 10 lane, 25 yard indoor pool that is open year round. The City of Pacifica, Parks Beaches & Recreation Department is the primary user of the pool and offers a wide array of aquatic programs for participants.

Our mission is to foster human development, promote health and wellness; strengthen safety and security by providing programs for all to play and learn.

The pool boasts a 1 meter and a 3 meter diving board.
Depth ranges from 3 feet to 12 feet. Pool temperature is
maintained at 82 degrees. There are dressing rooms that
include lockers; however, participants must provide their
own locks and towels.

Our swimming pool is a perfect place for recreational swim, lap swimming, or hosting a swim party. Amid a stunning setting, Ladera Recreation District features 2 swimming pools.

The main pool is an L-shaped pool with a 10-foot-deep diving well with a diving board. There are 6 lap lanes ranging in depth from 3 feet in the shallow end to 5 feet deep in the deep end. The pool is heated to a constant temperature of 82 degrees and is lit for early morning and evening swim.

The wading pool resides inside a fully fenced and gated area to provide a safe and secure environment for those under 5 years of age. The wading pool is kidney shaped with a depth ranging from 1 foot to 2 feet deep.

Ladera Oaks has two, full-sized 25-yard pools that are heated year-round. The eight-lane, rim-flow upper pool is all-deep and perfectly maintained for lap and competitive swimming. The family-oriented lower pool is kept at a warmer temperature; it has a diving well and a wading area, so you and your children can all play safely in an expansive pool.

Sequoia YMCA has partnered with the City of Redwood City to allow access to the newly renovated 6 lane, 25 yard warm pool at Hoover Park Come join us for recreational swim, lap swim, swim team or wetball. There is also a children’s wading pool for the kids.

Since 1979, La Petite Baleen has been providing swim lessons in the San Francisco Peninsula. Open year round with heated indoor pools and 4 locations.

The San Bruno City Park Pool is located at Crystal Springs and Oak Avenues in San Bruno City Park, adjacent to the Veterans Memorial Building. The pool is a seasonal pool open from early June to late September, please see the Activity Guide for current schedule . The pool is an “L” shape, 25x20 yards, 3 to 10 feet deep, and heated to approximately 83 degrees. The facility also has a toddler pool approximately 1 foot deep. Only coastguard approved flotation jackets are allowed. Parent must be in the water with the child if they are wearing a lifejacket.

Parkside Aquatic Park, bordering the Marina Lagoon, provides beach swimming, boating, a sand volleyball pit and a playground.

The Highlands Rec pool offers year round swimming in comfortable 83-degree water, with trained lifeguards on duty during all operating hours. During the winter months, the pool is covered by a dome, to keep swimmers warm and spectators dry. The pool also offers a diving board, a baby pool, and a water slide (April-October).

The Joinville Swim Center is open for the summer season and offers youth swim lessons, recreational swimming, birthday parties and pool rentals.

The swim center has 2 pools open from June 17 through August 13, 2017. Facilities include:

The Campbell Pool is an outdoor 25-yard pool featuring eight lanes. The pool depth is 3.5 feet at the shallow end and 9.5 feet at the deep end. The target temperature is kept at 80 degrees year-round by solar and gas heat. Kickboards are available, and lap swimmers can bring other equipment such as pull buoys, masks, and fins. Bring your own lock for locker room use.

Los Ranchitos Cabana Club is a private, non-profit recreation facility open to
members, their families and guests. We are located near the intersection Campbell Avenue
and San Tomas Aquino in Campbell, California.

Our facility has a swimming pool, barbecues, basketball court and 2 play areas for toddlers and older children. It’s a popular place for parties, swimming workouts, or just relaxing with your neighbors.

LRCC is the home of the Sharks, a competitive swim team for kids up to 18 years old, competing in the Valley Aquatics League.

Established in 1962 as a California Corporation, Cloverdale Cabana Club is a MEMBERS-ONLY social non profit. Over the years, Cloverdale has evolved into a community asset and a gathering spot for friends and neighbors. Monies in the form of membership dues and fees are used to improve the club and/or pay for day-to-day operations. All paid members are part of the corporation with full access to the club during normal business hours. Members also vote to elect the board of directors. Board members are volunteers. The only compensated employees are our lifeguards. Most property improvement projects are volunteer driven.

Blackberry Farm is a large park nestled in the heart of the Monta Vista neighborhood. The park is centrally located within the Stevens Creek Corridor, adjacent to McClellan Ranch Reserve and the Blackberry Farm Golf Course. The Stevens Creek Trail runs through the corridor connecting all three facilities. The park features picnic sites for groups up to 400 people, an on-site café, two swimming pools, a waterslide, a playground, horseshoe courts, sand volleyball courts, and bocce ball courts. Blackberry Farm is a seasonal facility - the pools, café, and picnic sites are open to the public May-September. The trail, playground, and courts can be enjoyed year-around.

Rancho Rinconada is a public facility equipped with a pool, playground, barbecue area, and indoor hall. we are located near the corner of Bollinger and Lawrence Expressway in Cupertino. The 25 yard pool is heated, equipped with a handicap lift, and has a depth of 2 and a half feet to 9 and a half feet. The barbecue area and indoor hall are available to rent for parties, birthdays, weddings, or other events.

Laurelhurst Cabana Club is a non-profit, private membership swimming pool located in Cupertino, California. We are located at the intersection of Fallenleaf Lane and Colony Hills Lane in the quiet community of Laurelhurst. It's a great place for families to swim, play, and relax without having to maintain your own pool. Many of our members have small children who have learned to swim at Laurelhurst. In addition to family memberships we also offer “couples” memberships, where singles and couples (without children living at home), can use the facility for swimming, socializing, or just relaxing in the sun. With our limited membership, the pool is rarely crowded, and at times, Laurelhurst can feel like your very own private pool.

Our annual season opens the 1st weekend of May and runs until October (closure in the fall is determined by the seasonal weather). During the season, the pool is open from 9:00am-9:00pm.

The newly renovated pool complex at the Los Altos Golf and Country Club offers our members much more than just a place to swim. Our swim complex consists of three pools, locker rooms, a pool house for social gatherings and our Cabana food and bar service. Parents and children can take a break from the sun and enjoy the many amenities inside the new 3,800 square foot Pool House, including ping pong, and high def TVs. A dedicated staff serves up freshly made poolside fare by day and a full menu for casual dinners. The Pool House is also available for members’ private events.

The Aquatics Center is your place to "Cool It" all summer long. Fair Swim Center is a multi-pool facility and features zero depth entry pool for toddlers, a slide pool with three water features, and a large lap pool with a depth of 3.5 feet to 12 feet. Almaden Oaks Community Center was established in 1963 when the Almaden Oaks developer granted the land and facilities to the original Almaden Oaks board.

The AOCC has been a membership based pool that offers very low membership rates. What separates the AOCC pool from other cabana clubs in the area is that we offer guards on duty during regular hours. This will allow parents to relax and interact with other parents knowing their children are being watched by certified lifeguards.

Rancho Santa Teresa Swim & Racquet Club was founded in 1966 and is one of the largest cabana clubs in Silicon Valley. RSTSRC is a non-profit organization owned by 761 homeowners. Membership is defined and limited to the homes in a specific club boundary in the Rancho Santa Teresa neighborhood. Per club by-laws, membership to RSTSRC is obligatory and memberships cannot be bought or sold at any time. We have three swimming pools, one jacuzzi, two tennis courts, a sand volleyball area, half basketball court, a great recreation room (open seasonally) and much more. The George F. Haines International Swim Center is the site of international swim meets, and a "home" for world-class and Olympic swimmers, divers, and synchronized swimmers. Adjacent to Montague Elementary School, the Swim Center has a pool made accessible to the disabled, a large wading pool, and turf area for sunbathers. Montague Swim Center covers 1.5 acres, and is open in the summer only, offering recreational swim and swim lessons.

A 6 acre park, Warburton Park was named in honor of Austen Warburton in 1962. Mr. Warburton was a descendent of a pioneer California family, and lived his entire life -- November, 1917 to May, 1995 -- in Santa Clara. He was a beloved civic leader, serving as a City Planning Commissioner, City Council Member and a Regent of Santa Clara University, and was known as "Mr. Santa Clara". Warburton Park also contains the Warburton Swim Center, picnic areas, open space, restrooms, a playground and basketball courts.

The swim center offers recreational swim and lessons during the summer. The pool facility has off-street parking. Pool Dimensions: 75 feet x 45 feet; depth of shallow end is 3 feet; depth of deep end is 10 feet. An eight acre park, Mary Gomez has a swimming pool, two tennis courts, basketball court and small children's play area. In addition, the park has off-street parking, an open play area suitable for games, picnic-barbecue facilities, and restrooms. The park was named in honor of Mary Gomez, an outstanding Santa Clara Unified School District teacher who also participated in the development of the City's Parks & Recreation Department. She also served on its first commission, which formulated the City's policy to try to place a park in every neighborhood.

Membership is limited to 250 families. Memberships can be purchased for a one time fee and sold at a future time, the price is set by the seller. What is Saratoga Woods Swim Club?

The City of Fairfield provides year round aquatic operation at the Aquatics Complex at Allan Witt Park. Enjoy the warm waters of the indoor Natatorium all year and cool off during the summer by enjoying outdoor amenities including the Big & Little Dipper water slides, Playland Lagoon and Lil’ Squirt wet play area.

Walter V. Graham Aquatic Center has one large competition pool that has a depth of 7.5 ft. to 13 ft. and one recreation pool that has a depth of 3.5 ft. to 5 ft.

A heated Olympic-size pool (50 meters x 25 yards) located at 801 Heartwood Ave. This year-round Facility is the home of the Greater Vallejo Water Polo team, the Vallejo Aquatics Club swim team, Jesse Bethel High School water polo and swim teams, St. Patrick's-St. Vincent's High School water polo and swim teams, and Benicia High School's water polo team. The facility hosts a variety of on-going programs for the greater Vallejo community. On-site dressing rooms and showers are available.

Fun for all ages. An adult must swim one-on-one with children under the age of 8 or under 48" tall. The Plunge is open Monday-Thursday through the Summer Season only.

The Lap/Recreational Swim Program is open to those enrolled in the Lap Swimming Program. The hours and days for this program are subject to change. We have a variety of recreational items for use including an inflatable obstacle course, log rollers, in water basketball, and inner tubes. The diving boards, and on occasion the highdive platform will be available for use. We also have Lap Lanes available for those who want to work out.

A nice family area for picnicking, swimming, bank fishing, and picnics, Yorty Creek is located far up the Dry Creek arm and can be accessed by car from the city of Cloverdale. Facilities include chemical toilets, free sheltered picnic areas, a car-top boat launch (no trailers allowed), and a swim beach. Sorry no drinking water is available at Yorty Creek. Yorty Creek is managed as a day use area. Boat-in campers wishing to launch and park overnight at Yorty Creek must check in with the visitor center and obtain a parking permit to avoid receiving a citation. Swim at your own risk, as there is no lifeguard on duty and please keep an eye on your children. Sorry, no glass or dogs allowed on the swim beach.

The YMCA swim lessons involve individualized swim instruction taught by caring instructors who guide students with praise and encouragement, while emphasizing personal safety. The Y offers a wide range of swimming options for the whole family that will help build strong swimming skills, personal endurance and a healthy body while allowing for continual growth in self-confidence and social skills.

Francis Ford Coppola wanted to create a place for families to come and enjoy all the best things in life together. For years, he had seen children playing around the fountain at Inglenook, pleading with their parents to allow them to jump in. Francis always sympathized with the children, so he thought, Gee, the kids will want to go swimming, so let's have swimming pools.

Situated in the center of the park area at the winery, two swimming pools totaling 3,600 square feet are surrounded by chaise lounge chairs, which have become a welcome addition for children and adults on warm Alexander Valley days.

Located in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country, in a place known as the Valley of the Moon, this diverse geothermal springs sanctuary borders Sonoma Creek and is nestled among a canopy of large oaks, open meadows and rolling hills – perfect for picnics, reunions, family recreation, corporate retreats and meetings, birthdays, weddings, and class field trips.

A Russian River tradition for nearly a century, Johnson’s Beach is a favorite summer spot for Sonoma County locals and visitors alike. Sunning, swimming and floating at Johnson’s Beach is as much a Sonoma County pastime as wine tasting and strolling through the redwoods.
Located ninety minutes north of the Bay Area in the charming and eclectic town of Guerneville, this classic summer getaway sits in the heart of the Russian River Valley and provides the quintessential summertime river experience.

This park offers a beach for swimming on the Russian River, picnic areas, restrooms, and a par course. The beach is staffed with lifeguards daily from July through Labor Day. The parking lot can fill by mid-day on summer weekends, and limited off-street parking is available nearby.

The Healdsburg Swim Center is owned by the Healdsburg Unified School District and operated jointly by the District and the City. The facility includes a 25-meter, 8-lane competition pool with a diving board, small slide and a 2-3 foot deep training pool as well as showers/locker rooms, a spectator area with plenty of seating in bleachers and on the well-kept lawn area.

We operate a recreational swim program, comprehensive learn to swim program, lap swimming, and a youth swim team program during the the summer months. Our group and private lessons offers instruction for beginners to advanced swimmers, ages 6 months to 18 years old.

Monte Rio Beach is the largest public beach on the lower Russian River and is ADA accessible. East of the Monte Rio Bridge and known locally as Big Rocky Beach, this is the location of the Independence weekend children’s games organized under the banner of Big Rocky Games. A lighted boat flotilla and fireworks follow for an old-fashioned family experience.

Enjoy the serenity of this part of the Russian River and rent a canoe, paddle board or kayak (see below for rates). This is a great place to learn water sports but it’s also challenging enough to attract the advanced paddler.

Our food concession stand is stocked with cold drinks, ice cream and lunchable items. Volleyball courts and horseshoe pits are free to any who wish to play. The parking lot is only open during the regular season and closes at 8pm. Built-in barbecue areas overlook the beauty and grandeur of the redwood covered hills across the river.

Monte Rio Beach, is open to the public Memorial weekend through the last weekend in September each year.

West of the Monte Rio Bridge is Sandy Beach. The upper parking lot gives access to this beach all year where those on foot can cut through the narrow paths leading down to the water. This small beach is popular for fly-fishing and the adjacent boat launch provides access to small fishing vessels. Angling has long been a popular sport on the Russian River and even today the area is famous for Steelhead trout.

Sandy Beach is our dog-friendly beach and leashes are required. We ask that you respect the use of the area and clean up after your pet.

The Swim Center has a 50-meter heated outdoor pool and a heated wading pool from 2-3 feet deep. The complex includes heated showers, dressing rooms, a large deck and picnic areas.

This heated outdoor pool measures 20yd x 6yd, and 3ft to 6ft deep.Water temperature is approximately 86 degrees. Full stairs at one end of the pool. Pool area is sheltered on all sides by walls.

Honeybee Pool ("H Pool") operates year round and offers lap swim, open swim (seasonally), swim lessons (seasonally) and fitness programs. H Pool is also the home to the Rohnert Park Piranhas Swim Club.

Magnolia Pool ("M Pool") aquatics facility is open seasonally, June - August and offers lap swim, public swim, and swim classes during the summer. You can also rent this pool for private parties.

Benicia Pool ("B Pool") is our “newest” pool after receiving a $1.2 million dollar facelift in 2015. During the summer, B Pool hosts swim lessons, water aerobics and open swim time for children and families. There are two shade structures that can be reserved for birthday parties.

This 320-acre park in northeast Santa Rosa features trails for walking, hiking, and bicycling as well as a summer swimming lagoon, a lake for boating and fishing, a campground, picnic areas, and the Environmental Discovery Center.

A spring-fed swimming lagoon is open daily Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The lagoon features areas for free swimming and lap swimming and an inflatable, floating playground for children 6 and older and adults. Lagoon admission is free. Admission to the inflatable playground is $10 per person or $60 for a season pass. The lagoon also features shaded lawns, picnic tables, barbecues, and tube rentals.

Public Swim offers a fun time in the water for all ages. All facilities will be open for use during public swim times and lifeguards will be on duty for your safety. Lockers are available for a $0.50 charge at both facilities, or you may bring your own lock. A concession stand will be open with various food and drink items for sale June 5 - August 25.

Recreational swim time open to the public. A “family” is up to 2 adults and their minor children living in the same household. Approved swim diapers are required for all children under 3 years and all who are incontinent.
