Take a flashlight tour through the Dublin Pioneer Cemetery with graves dating back to the 1850s, where Dublin’s buried past comes alive. Hear haunting stories of ghosts thought to be lurking in Dublin, including news of recent sightings. See ghostly images of long-dead pioneers in Old St. Raymond Church, and peek inside the parlor of the Kolb House. Fortify yourself with popcorn and hot cider, and stock up on handmade gifts for your favorite trick-or-treaters in Bill’s Workshop.

​Flashlight cemetery tours depart every half hour from Bill's Workshop beginning at 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday, tours will begin at 7:30 p.m., with the last tour at departing at 10:30 p.m. Tours after 9:00 p.m. are reserved for older teens and adults only. Cost is $7 per person. Candle Lighters is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to raising funds for non-profit groups and community-based projects in the Tri-City Community. (Fremont, Newark & Union City). We consider ourselves a service and a social organization.
We raise money solely through our annual Ghost House. Open during the last two weeks of October and based in a historical 19th century Carriage House, the Ghost House is a wonderful family-oriented event for all ages!

The Downtown hosts Halloween fun activities for families with children in the 5th grade and younger! Kids will enjoy the costume contest, pumpkin carving contest (precarved and submitted by the Friday before) carnival games, halloween themed activities and downtown business trick-or-treat and truck-or-treat!

To participate in downtown trick-or-treat and trunk-or-treat children will need to purchase a downtown Halloween treat bag for $5. This bag will give them access to all participating downtown business trick-or-treat locations and truck-or-treat on "J" and "K" Streets.

Costume contest and pupmkin carving contest are available for all ages and families to participate in free. There will also be free Halloween themed activities for children 5th grade and under! More details on this to come including a decorate your own mini pumpkin craft station!

Trick-or-treat bags are available at the event and some participating Downtown locations (TBA) in the days preceeding the event.

Our attraction is packed with special effects and talented actors that will both amaze and terrify patrons over and over again. There will be zombies, monsters, creatures and more thrills than ever!

Celebrate Halloween at our fun-filled pumpkin patch meadow, with free pumpkins, activities, and treats for the kids.

Our long-standing Halloween tradition continues this year and immediately follows the Piedmont Avenue Merchants Association’s annual Halloween parade, which is part of a daylong celebration that includes trick-or-treating at participating stores on the avenue.

To join in the fun, head down to the end of Piedmont Avenue after the parade and proceedinto the cemetery to the pumpkin patch meadow. Children can choose a free pumpkin (one per child) and enjoy lots of other activities, including: several “jumper” inflatable funhouses to jump around in, a hay-bale tunnel, a clown balloon artist, face painting, and a craft area to decorate pumpkins, masks, and treat bags. Food truck vendors will be onsite. Parents must accompany their children to this event.

The annual Halloween Scavenger Hunt will take place on Saturday, October 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. while supplies last. Hometown Halloween in Brentwood provides a safe trick-or-treating environment in Downtown Brentwood the Saturday before Halloween each year. This year's event will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017.

Clayton Valley Pumpkin Farm and Christmas Trees started as a U-Pick Vegetable stand in 1980. Pumpkins seemed to be the popular purchase of customers. Owners David and Sharon Osteen decided to expand on that idea. As the years passed, the pumpkin farm expanded and grew. The Trunk or Treat and Store to Store event will happen on a Sunday in conjunction with the Farmers Market. The Market will be on the 600 and 700 blocks of Main St. and the 500, 800, and 900 blocks will be filled with Trunk or Treat cars. And, many stores throughout the downtown will be open and handing out treats.

Clancy's opened San Francisco's first Pumpkin Patch in 1979. Visiting the patch in October, you will find pumpkins of all sizes and shapes. Gourds, corn stalks, and indian corn are in abundance.

Take home pumpkins for carving, decorating, and for baking into pies. The selection includes: mini pumpkins, Sugar Pie pumpkins, Cinderella pumpkins, as well as blue, white, and striped pumpkins.

During October Come see the ghosts in our trees, the scarecrows in our patch, and crawl through our hay maze. You can even take a hay ride in the middle of San Francisco!

This Halloween season, The San Francisco Dungeon will become the only place where you can confront your most unsettling superstitions while experiencing the city's sinister history, beginning Friday, October 13th!

Unavoidable Friday the 13th-themed tests will be scattered throughout the underground attraction forcing guests to:

Neither rabbit feet nor pennies on the ground will be available either to help ward off the bad luck.

Full of menacing characters and spooky surprises, The San Francisco Dungeon is a breeding ground of misfortune and folly – so it is no surprise the attraction will be plagued by bad luck this October.

Brave souls looking to tempt their luck and engage in the attraction’s superstitious activities can do so while embarking on a 60-minute journey of thrills, laughs and interactive storytelling through ten dark and amusing storylines. From the Chinatown Plague to the Escape from Alcatraz, each chapter in the already murky story of San Francisco will be a bit more tainted by unlucky charms and unfortunate hexes this Halloween season.

The Friday the 13th-themed storylines will be incorporated into every show at The San Francisco Dungeon beginning Friday, Oct. 13 through Sunday, Nov. 5. The attraction is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Our 17th annual Halloween Hoopla features interactive performances and games for kids under 10 and their adults and the return of the Yerba Buena Pumpkin Patch! Led by the ever-popular Unique Derique, the program features live music from Chelle! & Friends, roaming shenanigans from the Pi Clowns, mysterious palm reader Madam Z, and craft activities with Trash Mash-Up. During the month of October, Pastorino's offers a seasonal pumpkin farm. Well, it's spooky time in Downtown Campbell again! Downtown Campbell invites you to bring your two and four legged little ghouls, goblins, and superheros to our haunted district for some scary good fun and Trick or Treating.

As we started doing last year, we'll have the streets closed off around Downtown Campbell to allow the spooks, little, big, and pawed to go haunting by. If you think you have the scariest ghoul of all, you won't want to miss our annual costume contest for prizes donated by local merchants.

Dead Time Dreams, San Jose's top haunt, returns for the 2017 season, Oct 6th - Nov 5. This year we'll feature two new frighteningly immersive haunted attractions, The River Styx and DethworX. Also returning is a bigger and better Midway of Terror to entertain before and after the main attractions. We're again located at the corner of Tully Road and Capital Expwy next to the ABC Pumpkin Patch with plenty of FREE parking.

The MEF Pumpkin Patch is a beloved Moreland tradition that combines family fun with community building and fundraising. It attracts over 3,000 visitors each year!

All the schools in the Moreland District work together to create a magical Pumpkin Patch where our kids can play games, explore, get spooked, try new foods, listen to stories, and work on crafts. The Patch is located next door to Easterbrook Discovery School, temporarily taking over the Moreland Woods.

Along with our traditional pumpkin sales and family-friendly events, we have an amazing team of actors and Halloween enthusiasts who transform the Moreland Woods into Grimm's Hollow, a scenic trail that is open to the general public.

Proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch go directly to MEF, to benefit our children through arts, sports and science programs. The MEF Pumpkin Patch is a wonderful way to celebrate the season and give back to our community!

Pumpkins in the Park is a harvest fair for families with a strong environmental education component. It is designed to promote awareness of the Guadalupe River Park and celebrate the fall season. Pumpkins in the Park is held to raise funds and enlist supporters for Guadalupe River Park Conservancy. But, just as importantly, its purpose is to create awareness of the park and gardens and to bring families into the park for a day of learning and fun.

Come join us for our second annual Pumpkin Palooza Event! Pumpkin Palooza is an evening of fun and fellowship with our FCC family and friends, which will provide an outreach opportunity for members of the surrounding community to get to know us.

This is a safe, family-fun event for all ages. We’ll have music, food trucks, games/activities, contests and more! There will be an obstacle course, jump house, Zorb ball track and Harvest MAZE! This will be a night you wont want to miss!

Some businesses may choose to have their treats handed out at the WGBA Treat Stop on the Avenue. Other businesses may decide to donate to Books for Treats instead of handing out candy at their store. You can tell which businesses are participating and where to find their treats by checking the trick or treat pumpkin sign in their window.

For the safety of children, please use crosswalks and stay on the sidewalks. We will have volunteers to help guide children and parents cross the street. Please note that you can start anywhere along the street, but we ask that you follow the pattern set up for foot traffic:

Celebrate Halloween at Trunk or Treat on Westminster's front lawn from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Spooky tales of the paranormal history of Benicia is revealed on this exciting, interactive, and fun Ghost Walk with paranormal investigators Deborah Hogarty and James Fitzpatrick. Step into the shoes of a paranormal investigator and meet the ghosts of Benicia’s past. Good walking shoes and flashlight are recommended. Limited capacity on tours and lasts approximately 2 hours, depending on what entity the group encounters. 12 years and older permitted on tours. Ages 12-17 must be accompanied by adult. Tours are $25 per person. Prepaid reservations are required by calling 707-745-9791.

The normally mild-mannered Southern Pacific Railroad Depot will mysteriously transform into a frightful depository of ghosts, goblins and spirits daring the public to pay a visit.

Admission is $3 and $2 for children age 5 and under. The hours of the Haunted Depot are Fridays, October 20 & 27 from 6-9pm; Saturdays, October 21 & 28 from 12-4pm and 6-9pm; Sundays, October 22 & 29 from 12-4pm; and Halloween.

Benicia's Halloween tradition continues on Saturday, October 28th at 10am with the annual Halloween Costume Contest and Sidewalk Stroll at the City Park, located at First and Military Streets. Kids of all ages enjoy the popular Halloween event. Local merchants on First Street get into the spirit offering candy and treats as kids and families stroll First Street trick-or-treating. At noon on the First Street Green, located at First and East B Streets, the public can enjoy the ever-popular Canine & Critter Costume Contest with prizes. Fright Fest, presented by SNICKERS®, is back for select days September 23-October 31 at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. It's a spooky time of year as zombies and ghouls take over the park. Enjoy thrills and activities for the whole family throughout the day and come back for a truly frightening evening of fun after the sun goes down. Fright Fest offers a wide variety of places to get your scare on including several haunted houses and scare zones located throughout the park. The stuff of nightmares lurk around every corner as the dark of night washes over the park. The ghouls are set free for their daily hunting rituals. BEWARE! There is no place to hide!

If the Mare Island Shoreline Heritage Preserve wasn’t scary enough at night this time of year...come out to our annual "NightMARE Island" The last of our fall fundraisers!

The Mare Island Shoreline Heritage Trust is a 501C3 non-profit, and this is the final fall fundraiser for the Preserve.

Your host again for the event - "The man with one foot in the world of the living and the other foot six feet under..." is THE UNDERTAKER, and he has so much planned for your visit! Attendees are encouraged to bring their own flashlights and come in costume. This is an all-ages event, though some of the attractions may be more suited to the 13 and older crowd, and they will be marked.

During the month of October our organic dairy farm becomes McClelland's Organic Pumpkin Patch! Wander through over seven acres of pumpkins and pick your own pumpkin straight off the vine! Visitors can spend the day on a working dairy farm where farm admission is free and includes watching cows being milked, petting farm, hay maze, seed sand box, tire swings, and more. The Tolay Fall Festival offers two weekends of old-time, nature-based fun from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 14-15 and Oct. 21-22 at Tolay Lake Regional Park southeast of Petaluma.

More than just a pumpkin patch, the Tolay Fall Festival is a seasonal celebration of the beauty and history of this special park. Fall Festival activities are low-key, hands-on and educational by design.

Pumpkins on Pikes is one of those very special events where magic is created and experienced by all who attend.

The festivities start in the afternoon with great food, music and pumpkin carving. Everyone will get the chance to display their Jack-O-Lantern on a pike in the corn field.
